Welcome to Buenavista Services! We are a family-owned and independent NDIS Registered Provider, proudly supporting participants across Greater Brisbane, Bundaberg, and Rockhampton. Our dedicated team offers Occupational Therapy Functional Capacity Assessments, Support Coordination, Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, Physiotherapy, and Support Work. Our Services

A functional capacity assessment is a detailed allied health assessment that looks at how a person manages daily activities (like mobility, self‑care, communication and social interaction) to clarify strengths, support needs and NDIS funding requirements
We have immediate capacity in all of our locations.
We also offer private FCAs with payment plans.

A Support Coordinator helps NDIS participants understand their plan, connect with services, and build the skills to manage their supports independently.
A Psychosocial Recovery Coach helps people with psychosocial disabilities build confidence, connect with supports, and work towards their recovery goals.

Our Mobile Physiotherapists provide convenient, personalized care at your home.
They assess, treat, and support your mobility, strength, balance, and pain management with tailored exercises, hands-on therapy, education, and advice—helping you stay independent under your NDIS plan.
Our Story
Buenavista Services began as a family story before it became a business.
I (Herbert) spent many years working in support roles on the Central Coast of Sydney, walking alongside people through day‑to‑day challenges and complex support needs. Don built his career in the food sector, leading manufacturing teams and overseeing safety, quality and operations, while also running a side business in allied health. Over the years he has started and managed service businesses like a swim school and a gift basket company, giving him practical experience in designing services families enjoy, trust and come back to.
In early 2020, I moved to Queensland to be closer to my 73‑year‑old mum. Her maiden name is Buenavista, and she migrated from the Philippines to Australia in 1989, looking for a better life and more opportunity for her family. Naming the company Buenavista is our way of honouring her story and the courage it took to start again in a new country.
After many years in our respective fields, Don and I found ourselves asking a simple question: what if we did this ourselves, in a way that stayed personal, values‑driven and genuinely helpful for the people we support? That question became Buenavista Services – a family‑run allied health and NDIS provider focused on helping people build safer, more stable and more hopeful lives, one step at a time.
Since then we have had the priviledge and oppurtunity to be joined with a fantastic team of health professionals who are experts in their field. From Occupational Therapists who are experienced in paedetrics, psychosocial and mental illness, and surgery and orthopaedics, to Support Coordinators with expert knowledge of the NDIS, and have proven track record of helping participants navigate their plan (especially those with complex mental health challenges.)
